Please note that according to the author’s employment status, a different copyright clearance code is required:
Use of IEEE PDFeXpress® to produce the camera-ready PDF version of your paper.
As soon as you have prepared the final version of your camera-ready paper, you need to produce the IEEE compatible PDF version of your camera-ready paper. IEEE maintains strict formatting standards for all manuscripts published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. Authors must use the IEEE PDFeXpress® site located here {https://www.pdf-express.org/} to convert manuscript files to the required format. Please use the conference ID 42420X to create a user account for accessing the IEEE PDF eXpress system.
Here are the instructions for logging in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site and produce your IEEE compatible PDF version of your camera-ready paper.
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site
For the first-time users should do the following:
1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
2. Enter the following:
3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Create a new title and upload the final version of your paper to produce an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file
- You will soon receive first an email mentioning that the IEEE PDF eXpress has received your file and then a second email notifying if your paper is IEEE compatible or not.
- In case your paper is IEEE Xplore compatible, then the IEEE Xplore compatible PDF will be attached in the second email as “PIDxxxxxxx.pdf”. Please download this PDF file, which is the one that you have to submit in the conference submission page as the camera-ready paper.
- In case your paper is not IEEE compatible, then the second email will mention “PDF failed” and in the attached file you can find the errors that need to be corrected. Please correct the errors and repeat the procedure by pressing on the “try again” in the IEEE PDF eXpress website until you achieve that your PDF is IEEE Xplore compatible.
Use the IEEE Xplore compatible “PIDxxxxxxx.pdf” file produced by the IEEE PDF eXpress to update your submission according to the next step.
Submit your camera-ready paper:
Log in to the submission website of the conference (www.easyacademia.org/energycon2018), press on the “upload full paper” button of your accepted paper, and on the “Upload” step press “update final paper” and upload the camera-ready “PIDxxxxxxx.pdf” paper as it has been produced by the IEEE PDF eXpress tool. Ensure that you press the "Update submission" button in the Summary step to complete the process.
The corresponding author must complete and sign the online IEEE Copyright Form on behalf of all authors. This form can only be completed electronically; printed versions are not permitted. Manuscripts without a completed copyright form will not be accepted for publication.
At least one author or co-author of an accepted paper must register at the conference before 1st April 2018. All the information about registration are located here. Papers without at least one registered author will not be presented or submitted to the IEEE Xplore Database. Please note that one registration per accepted paper is required. For participants presenting multiple papers, an additional €120 will be charged for each additional paper after the first one, unless covered by the registration fee of another co-author.
